The way that is suitable for attaining Nibbāna. (3)

“Bhikkhus, I will teach you the way that is suitable for attaining Nibbāna. Listen to that…. “And what, bhikkhus, is the way that is suitable for attaining Nibbāna? Here, a bhikkhu sees the eye as nonself, he sees forms as nonself, he sees eye-consciousness as nonself, he sees eye-contact as nonself, he sees as nonself whatever feeling arises with eye-contact as condition, whether pleasant or painful or neither-painful-nor-pleasant. He sees the ear as nonself, he sees sounds as nonself, he sees ear-consciousness as nonself, he sees ear-contact as nonself, he sees as nonself whatever feeling arises with ear-contact as condition, whether pleasant or painful or neither-painful-nor-pleasant. He sees the nose as nonself, he sees smells as nonself, he sees nose-consciousness as nonself, he sees nose-contact as nonself, he sees as nonself whatever feeling arises with nose-contact as condition, whether pleasant or painful or neither-painful-nor-pleasant. He sees the tongue as nonself, he sees tastes as nonself, he sees tongue-consciousness as nonself, he sees tongue-contact as nonself, he sees as nonself whatever feeling arises with tongue-contact as condition, whether pleasant or painful or neither-painful-nor-pleasant. He sees the body as nonself, he sees touches as nonself, he sees body-consciousness as nonself, he sees body-contact as nonself, he sees as nonself whatever feeling arises with body-contact as condition, whether pleasant or painful or neither-painful-nor-pleasant. He sees the mind as nonself, he sees mental phenomena as nonself, he sees mind-consciousness as nonself, he sees mind-contact as nonself, he sees as nonself whatever feeling arises with mind-contact as condition, whether pleasant or painful or neither-painful-nor-pleasant. “This, bhikkhus, is the way that is suitable for attaining Nibbāna.” ภิกษุทั้งหลาย เราจะแสดงปฏิปทาที่สัปปายะ (สะดวกสบาย) แก่การบรรลุนิพพาน แก่เธอทั้งหลาย เธอทั้งหลายจงฟัง จงใส่ใจให้ดี เราจักกล่าว ภิกษุทั้งหลาย ปฏิปทาที่สัปปายะแก่การบรรลุนิพพานนั้นเป็นอย่างไร ภิกษุทั้งหลาย ภิกษุในกรณีนี้ ย่อมเห็นว่า ตาเป็นอนัตตา รูปทั้งหลายเป็นอนัตตา วิญญาณทางตาเป็นอนัตตา ผัสสะทางตาเป็นอนัตตา แม้สุขเวทนา ทุกขเวทนา หรืออทุกขมสุขเวทนา ที่เกิดขึ้นเพราะผัสสะทางตาเป็นปัจจัยก็เป็นอนัตตา. ย่อมเห็นว่า หูเป็นอนัตตา เสียงทั้งหลายเป็นอนัตตา วิญญาณทางหูเป็นอนัตตา ผัสสะทางหูเป็นอนัตตา แม้สุขเวทนา ทุกขเวทนา หรืออทุกขมสุขเวทนา ที่เกิดขึ้นเพราะผัสสะทางหูเป็นปัจจัยก็เป็นอนัตตา. ย่อมเห็นว่า จมูกเป็นอนัตตา กลิ่นทั้งหลายเป็นอนัตตา วิญญาณทางจมูกเป็นอนัตตา ผัสสะทางจมูกเป็นอนัตตา แม้สุขเวทนา ทุกขเวทนา หรืออทุกขมสุขเวทนา ที่เกิดขึ้นเพราะผัสสะทางจมูกเป็นปัจจัยก็เป็นอนัตตา. ย่อมเห็นว่า ลิ้นเป็นอนัตตา รสทั้งหลายเป็นอนัตตา วิญญาณทางลิ้นเป็นอนัตตา ผัสสะทางลิ้นเป็นอนัตตา แม้สุขเวทนา ทุกขเวทนา หรืออทุกขมสุขเวทนา ที่เกิดขึ้นเพราะผัสสะทางลิ้นเป็นปัจจัยก็เป็นอนัตตา. ย่อมเห็นว่า กายเป็นอนัตตา โผฏฐัพพะทั้งหลายเป็นอนัตตา วิญญาณทางกายเป็นอนัตตา ผัสสะทางกายเป็นอนัตตา แม้สุขเวทนา ทุกขเวทนา หรืออทุกขมสุขเวทนา ที่เกิดขึ้นเพราะผัสสะทางกายเป็นปัจจัยก็เป็นอนัตตา. ย่อมเห็นว่า ใจเป็นอนัตตา ธรรมทั้งหลายเป็นอนัตตา วิญญาณทางใจเป็นอนัตตา ผัสสะทางใจเป็นอนัตตา แม้สุขเวทนา ทุกขเวทนา หรืออทุกขมสุขเวทนา ที่เกิดขึ้นเพราะผัสสะทางใจเป็นปัจจัยก็เป็นอนัตตา. ภิกษุทั้งหลาย เหล่านี้แล เป็นปฏิปทาที่สัปปายะแก่การบรรลุนิพพาน.
