The way that is suitable for attaining Nibbāna. (2)

“Bhikkhus, I will teach you the way that is suitable for attaining Nibbāna. Listen to that…. “And what, bhikkhus, is the way that is suitable for attaining Nibbāna? Here, a bhikkhu sees the eye as suffering, he sees forms as suffering, he sees eye-consciousness as suffering, he sees eye-contact as suffering, he sees as suffering whatever feeling arises with eye-contact as condition, whether pleasant or painful or neither-painful-nor-pleasant. He sees the ear as suffering, he sees sounds as suffering, he sees ear-consciousness as suffering, he sees ear-contact as suffering, he sees as suffering whatever feeling arises with ear-contact as condition, whether pleasant or painful or neither-painful-nor-pleasant. He sees the nose as suffering, he sees smells as suffering, he sees nose-consciousness as suffering, he sees nose-contact as suffering, he sees as suffering whatever feeling arises with nose-contact as condition, whether pleasant or painful or neither-painful-nor-pleasant. He sees the tongue as suffering, he sees tastes as suffering, he sees tongue-consciousness as suffering, he sees tongue-contact as suffering, he sees as suffering whatever feeling arises with tongue-contact as condition, whether pleasant or painful or neither-painful-nor-pleasant. He sees the body as suffering, he sees touches as suffering, he sees body-consciousness as suffering, he sees body-contact as suffering, he sees as suffering whatever feeling arises with body-contact as condition, whether pleasant or painful or neither-painful-nor-pleasant. He sees the mind as suffering, he sees mental phenomena as suffering, he sees mind-consciousness as suffering, he sees mind-contact as suffering, he sees as suffering whatever feeling arises with mind-contact as condition, whether pleasant or painful or neither-painful-nor-pleasant. “This, bhikkhus, is the way that is suitable for attaining Nibbāna.” ภิกษุทั้งหลาย เราจะแสดงปฏิปทาที่สัปปายะ (สะดวกสบาย) แก่การบรรลุนิพพาน แก่เธอทั้งหลาย เธอทั้งหลายจงฟัง จงใส่ใจให้ดี เราจักกล่าว ภิกษุทั้งหลาย ปฏิปทาที่สัปปายะแก่การบรรลุนิพพานนั้นเป็นอย่างไร คือ ภิกษุทั้งหลาย ภิกษุในกรณีนี้ ย่อมเห็นว่า ตาเป็นทุกข์ รูปทั้งหลายเป็นทุกข์ วิญญาณทางตาเป็นทุกข์ ผัสสะทางตาเป็นทุกข์ แม้สุขเวทนา ทุกขเวทนา หรืออทุกขมสุขเวทนา ที่เกิดขึ้นเพราะผัสสะทางตาเป็นปัจจัยก็เป็นทุกข์ ย่อมเห็นว่า หูเป็นทุกข์ เสียงทั้งหลายเป็นทุกข์ วิญญาณทางหูเป็นทุกข์ ผัสสะทางหูเป็นทุกข์ แม้สุขเวทนา ทุกขเวทนา หรืออทุกขมสุขเวทนา ที่เกิดขึ้นเพราะผัสสะทางหูเป็นปัจจัยก็เป็นทุกข์. ย่อมเห็นว่า จมูกเป็นทุกข์ กลิ่นทั้งหลายเป็นทุกข์ วิญญาณทางจมูกเป็นทุกข์ ผัสสะทางจมูกเป็นทุกข์ แม้สุขเวทนา ทุกขเวทนา หรืออทุกขมสุขเวทนา ที่เกิดขึ้นเพราะผัสสะทางจมูกเป็นปัจจัยก็เป็นทุกข์. ย่อมเห็นว่า ลิ้นเป็นทุกข์ รสทั้งหลายเป็นทุกข์ วิญญาณทางลิ้นเป็นทุกข์ ผัสสะทางลิ้นเป็นทุกข์ แม้สุขเวทนา ทุกขเวทนา หรืออทุกขมสุขเวทนา ที่เกิดขึ้นเพราะผัสสะทางลิ้นเป็นปัจจัยก็เป็นทุกข์. ย่อมเห็นว่า กายเป็นทุกข์ โผฏฐัพพะทั้งหลายเป็นทุกข์ วิญญาณทางกายเป็นทุกข์ ผัสสะทางกายเป็นทุกข์ แม้สุขเวทนา ทุกขเวทนา หรืออทุกขมสุขเวทนา ที่เกิดขึ้นเพราะผัสสะทางกายเป็นปัจจัยก็เป็นทุกข์. ย่อมเห็นว่า ใจเป็นทุกข์ ธรรมทั้งหลายเป็นทุกข์ วิญญาณทางใจเป็นทุกข์ ผัสสะทางใจเป็นทุกข์ แม้สุขเวทนา ทุกขเวทนา หรืออทุกขมสุขเวทนา ที่เกิดขึ้นเพราะผัสสะทางใจเป็นปัจจัยก็เป็นทุกข์. ภิกษุทั้งหลาย เหล่านี้แล เป็นปฏิปทาที่สัปปายะแก่การบรรลุนิพพาน.
