Things lead to the growth of wisdom.

“Mendicants, these four things lead to the growth of wisdom. What four? Associating with good people, listening to the true teaching, proper attention, and practicing in line with the teaching. These four things lead to the growth of wisdom.”
ภิกษุทั้งหลาย ธรรม ๔ ประการเหล่านี้ ย่อมเป็นไปเพื่อความเจริญแห่งปัญญา ธรรม ๔ ประการอะไรบ้าง คือ
๑) การคบสัปบุรุษ
๒) การฟังพระสัทธรรม
๓) การทำไว้ในใจโดยแยบคาย
๔) การปฏิบัติธรรมสมควรแก่ธรรม
ภิกษุทั้งหลาย ธรรม ๔ ประการเหล่านี้แล ย่อมเป็นไปเพื่อความเจริญแห่งปัญญา.
